Is your pet not keeping well, or has a new puppy just come home? You need not worry. At the Dogs 'N' Pups small-animal clinic in Nerul, our veterinarian, Dr. Snehal P. Saudagar, M.V.Sc. (Bom.), Reg. No. 9323, looks after your pet and gives you the advice you need to get them back to their best.
Who we treat
More families in Navi Mumbai bring home a pet every year, and they are not all dogs. Our clinic sees dogs and cats, and also birds, reptiles, hedgehogs and other small and exotic pets, all with the same loving, professional care and at budget-friendly prices.
What happens at a check-up
Our doctor uses diagnostics to find out clearly what is troubling your pet and how it can be cured or treated. Even when your pet seems fine, a routine check-up every now and then catches problems early and keeps your little friend in good shape for longer. Pets depend on us completely, so their health is never the place to compromise.
Alongside the grooming in our salon, the clinic can also give a medicated bath or a tick treatment when your pet's skin needs it.
Why vaccinations matter
A vaccinated pet is far better protected against serious diseases. Vaccines protect your family too: some germs can pass from dogs, cats and other animals to people, which matters even more if you have young children at home.
Our veterinarian will explain the best vaccination options for your type of pet and the schedule to follow. For most puppies, core vaccines start at around 6 to 8 weeks of age, with boosters every few weeks until about 16 weeks, the first anti-rabies shot at around 3 months, and boosters after that, usually once a year. Your pet's exact schedule depends on its age, health and history, so always follow your vet's advice.
